Financing Overview

Payment plans, when available, are offered directly by the assigned licensed contractor or through a third-party financing partner (such as a home-improvement financing company). Land Clearing Knoxville does not itself extend credit, act as a lender, or process loan applications.

Subject to Credit Approval

All financing is subject to credit approval. Approval, terms, APR, and repayment period depend on the applicant's creditworthiness and the lender's underwriting policies at the time of application.

What to Ask the Contractor

Before signing any financing agreement, ask the contractor or lender for:

• The APR (annual percentage rate).
• The total finance charge over the life of the loan.
• The number and amount of payments.
• Prepayment penalties, if any.
• Late fees.
• Any promotional rates and what they revert to after the promotional period.
• Whether the loan is secured by a lien on your property.

Your Rights

Under federal Truth in Lending Act (TILA) requirements, you have the right to receive a written disclosure of the terms of the loan before signing. Review the disclosure carefully. If anything is unclear, ask for clarification before signing.

No Referral Fee Kickback to You

The choice of financing partner (if any) is a decision between you and the contractor. We do not receive kickbacks from lenders for referring financed customers.
