How to File a Complaint With Us

If you have a complaint about the referral service or about a licensed contractor we matched you with, please email contact@landclearingknoxville.com with:

• Your name and contact information.
• The name of the contractor (if applicable).
• The date of service (if applicable).
• A description of the issue.
• What resolution you are seeking.

Our Response

We acknowledge every complaint within 3 business days and aim to reach a resolution within 30 days. Complaints against contractors in our network are investigated and, where warranted, result in the contractor being removed.

External Regulators

If you cannot reach a satisfactory resolution with us, you may also file a complaint with:

• Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) — for concerns about land disturbance permit compliance, stormwater violations, or environmental issues. Visit tn.gov/environment.
• Knox County Codes Administration — for concerns about grading permit compliance or building code issues.
• Tennessee Attorney General Consumer Protection — for consumer disputes. Visit tn.gov/attorneygeneral.
• Better Business Bureau of Greater East Tennessee — bbb.org.

Filing a complaint will not affect your ability to use the referral service in the future.
